Natural Remedies to Follow to Deal with Hair Loss Problem

Hair fall is one of the most common problems. We lack knowledge about the natural ways through which we can treat hair loss. Long, luscious hair is a desire that keeps pricking you. For many years, people have searched and tried different types of home remedies for hair growth.

Initially, hair loss was a sign of ageing, but in the urban scenario and hectic lifestyles, it has been a cause of worry
·         Imbalances in the hormones can cause hair loss, especially at pregnancy, post child birth and menopause.
·         Ringworm can cause taintsin the scalp resulting in scaly patches, once the infection is treated then hair loss can be stopped.
·         Lichen planus and other kinds of lupus and sarcoidosis can be hazardous as well.

Onion Juice

For people suffering from alopecia areata should try this method, however it's not scientifically proven. Survey suggests that out of 23 people 20 people are assured of results, by applying onion juice on to the scalp twice a day.
·         Beware if you suffer from androgenic alopecia, opt for a trial.
·         Onion juice is got by grating onion and then filtering.
·         Use it on scalp by applying it twice a day for 30 minutes and then wash off, try this method for 6 weeks for it to work.

Scalp massaging helps in hair growth; it helps increase blood flow to the follicles, thus promoting hair regrowth. An ancient method and also proven scientifically.
·         Oils like coconut, almond, olive, castor or Indian gooseberry can do wonders, rosemary oil too helps.
·         Massage these oils it into the hair and scalp, repeat it weekly.

Fenugreek seed (methi seeds) paste helps. It can vastly help in the structure of hair follicles.
·         Soak one cup of fenugreek seeds overnight in water, Apply its ground mixture on the hair.
·         Cover it with a shower cap and let it stay for 40 minutes, rinse your hair and repeat for a month.
·         It’s a great natural therapy but not proven scientifically to help hair loss and may not work in your favor too.

 There are plenty other natural cures to try. Though, remember that these are not scientifically proven and may not work. Always consult your doctor if problem persists.


·         Aloe Vera gel raises the ph value, it needs to be massaged onto scalp for an hour, wash it off and repeat 3-4 times.
·         Tried Licorice root paste? It can soothe the scalp and reduce any irritation. Start by mixing 1 tablespoon of ground licorice with a quarter spoon of saffron with a cup of milk. apply this mixture on bald areas of the head and leave it covered overnight. Rinse off the next day and repeat weekly or twice a week.
·         Chinese hibiscus flower can help hair growth, banish dandruff and thicken hair. Mix it with coconut oil, heat until burnt, strain to collect the oil. Use it on the scalp at bedtime and leave it overnight, wash it off the next day and repeat whenever needed.
·         Some other remedies include using beetroot, coconut milk and flax seeds.
